Integrate Noem AI with Eventbrite

Overview #

The Eventbrite integration connects your Noem AI chatbot to your Eventbrite account, allowing your bot to support event workflows directly inside chat.

Once connected, your bot can:

  • Answer questions about your events (dates, locations, ticket types, policies).
  • Share event links and registration instructions instantly.
  • Help users find the right event and reduce repetitive support questions.

This guide walks you through generating your Eventbrite Private Token, connecting it in Noem AI, and enabling Eventbrite actions for your chatbot.

Applies to: All Noem AI workspaces with an active Eventbrite account

Why Integrate Eventbrite with Noem AI? #

Eventbrite + Noem AI helps you turn event interest into registrations without human effort:

  • Provide 24/7 event support (tickets, location, schedule, refunds, entry rules).
  • Reduce back-and-forth by automatically sharing the right event page link.
  • Help attendees self-serve common questions before and after purchase.
  • Improve conversions by answering “what, when, where, how much” instantly.

Before You Begin #

Ensure you have the following ready:

  • Eventbrite account with access to your organization’s events.
  • Permission to view Developer Links / API Keys in Eventbrite.
  • An active Noem AI chatbot project (My Projects → select your bot).
  • The Eventbrite Private Token (you’ll generate this in Part 1).

Part 1: Connect Your Eventbrite Account #

Step 1 — Open the Eventbrite Integration #

  1. Log in to Noem AI.
  2. Go to My Projects → select your chatbot.
  3. Open the Instructions tab.
  4. In the Actions section, click Eventbrite.
  5. Click Configure.

You’ll see a field for:

  • Private Token

Step 2 — Generate Your Eventbrite Private Token #

  1. Log in to Eventbrite.
  2. Go to Account Settings.
  3. Open Developer LinksAPI Keys.
  4. Create an API Key (if you don’t already have one).
  5. Click “Show API key, client secret and tokens”.
  6. Copy the Private token.

Private Token: ________________________________

Tip: Your Private Token grants access to your Eventbrite data, store it securely and never share it publicly.

Step 3 — Connect Eventbrite to Noem AI #

  1. Return to Noem AI → Eventbrite → Configure.
  2. Paste your Private Token.
  3. Click Connect.
  4. Confirm the integration shows a Connected status.

How It Works #

When connected, Noem AI can use Eventbrite permissions tied to your Private Token to:

  • Retrieve event details (name, dates, venue/location, event URL).
  • Reference ticket/registration details (high-level availability info, depending on action scope).
  • Share the correct Eventbrite event link inside chat.

Your bot uses these capabilities through Instructions → Actions, so you control when the bot can call Eventbrite.

Part 2: Use Eventbrite Actions in Your Chatbot #

Step 1 — Enable Eventbrite Actions #

  1. In your bot, go to Instructions → Actions.
  2. Toggle on the Eventbrite actions you want enabled (examples):
    • Find event
    • Get event details
    • Share event link

If you don’t see action toggles yet, your workspace may still be on the beta rollout—keep the integration connected and check again later.

Step 2 — Add Eventbrite to Your Bot Instructions #

In Instructions, add simple guidance like:

  • “If the user asks about events, use Eventbrite to fetch the latest event details and share the official Eventbrite link.”
  • “Always confirm the event date/time and location before sending the link.”
  • “If multiple events match, ask a quick follow-up: which city/date?”

This ensures the chatbot uses Eventbrite consistently and avoids guessing.

Step 3 — Test the Integration #

Run 3 quick tests from your chatbot preview:

  1. Event discovery
    • “What events do you have this month?”
  2. Event details
    • “Where is the event and what time does it start?”
  3. Registration link
    • “Send me the link to register.”

✅ Confirm the bot returns accurate event info and links that open the correct Eventbrite page.

Troubleshooting Guide #

Problem: “Invalid token” or connection fails

  • Make sure you copied the Private Token (not the API key or client secret).
  • Re-copy the token from Account Settings → Developer Links → API Keys.
  • Paste again and click Connect.

Problem: Bot responds but doesn’t use Eventbrite

  • Confirm Eventbrite is enabled under Instructions → Actions.
  • Update your Instructions to explicitly tell the bot to use Eventbrite for event questions.

Problem: Missing events or wrong organization

  • Ensure the Eventbrite account used has access to the correct organization/events.
  • If you manage multiple orgs, confirm the token belongs to the account with the right permissions.

Problem: Links are correct but details look outdated

  • Ask the bot to “refresh” by re-running the Eventbrite action (or retry the same question).
  • Confirm the event details are correct in Eventbrite first.

Best Practices #

Keep Tokens Secure
Treat the Private Token like a password. Store it in a secure password manager.

🔁 Rotate Tokens When Needed
If you suspect exposure, generate a new token in Eventbrite and reconnect in Noem AI.

🧭 Always Share the Official Link
When users want tickets, send the Eventbrite registration URL rather than copied text.

🗓️ Disambiguate Similar Events
If multiple events match, ask for a quick detail (city/date) before sending links.

📈 Track Impact
Use Noem AI analytics to see which event questions appear most often, then refine FAQs and prompts.
